Bug 177344 – app-i18n/scim-qtimm-0.9.4 ignores USE=-debug

Whether I use USE=debug or USE=-debug, the debugging is being turned on.
The two following things occur:

- configure script tells me
[...]
  Enable debug           yes
[...]
- $ qsize scim-qtimm
app-i18n/scim-qtimm-0.9.4: 11 files, 17 non-files, 222.477 KB .

Only after I removed the line "$(use_enable debug scim-debug) \" from the ebuild, the configure script disabled debugging, and libqscim.so is being reduced by about 50kb, resulting in
$ qsize scim-qtimm
app-i18n/scim-qtimm-0.9.4: 11 files, 17 non-files, 170.477 KB .

I tried fiddling around with --enable/--disable-debug and --enable/--disable-scim-debug, but came to no satisfying conclusion.
If --disable-scim-debug is being thrown at the configure script, debugging was always being turned on.
