We should do a more unified conversion of at least main consumers of wxGTK from SLOT=3.0 to SLOT=3.0-gtk3, so that most people won't need to have both SLOTs installed at once. gtk2 SLOT will lose USE=webkit soon due to security (no security safe gtk2 version of webkit-gtk exists) and I'm not sure I will personally bump that slot up to 3.0.3.1 release at all. voyageur started this with filezilla after our talks on IRC. There is now a package.mask block for this: """ # Coordinated conversion to wxGTK:3.0-gtk3 # Drop mask after migration of existing wxGTK:3.0 users # and wxGTK-3.0.3 bump in tree """ When you convert your package to use wxGTK:3.0-gtk3 and it works well to push to main tree, please first add it to this package.mask if it can wait, so we can unleash more of them at once (and later ask stabilization at once as well - as such please let wxwidgets@ know in your specific conversion bug if it's OK to ask stabilization of that version for you in a coordinated manner in 30 days after unmask as well).
