The original upstream is gone since 2014, and Qt5-porting fork isn't exactly lively either. Do you have a way to contact upstream about the need to port away from Qt5, or will bug 949078 be the final stable bug?
I am "upstream" since I forked the original one to avoid maintaining big patches and I was not planning to port it to Qt6. But it turns out I have been contacted some months ago by another dev who is maintaining another fork which has already been ported to Qt6. I had a look into it yesterday and it should be easy to switch to this fork. I will submit a pull request when I think it's ready.
I can't make the Qt6 port work under Gentoo. It's crashing in different places and I don't have time to dig into it. So I think the present version will be the last one. And to be honest, I don't think a lot of people will miss this software.
Have you seen this? http://ffdiaporama.tuxfamily.org/Forum/viewtopic.php?id=1669 Maybe their "sourcecode download" is worth something (see $URL). Otherwise I will initiate last-rites soon.
Hi, that is the code (patched by someone else) I tried to compile with no luck. You can remove it.

Thanks for giving it a try at least. :)
